GBAPS, Oshkosh Alumni pose for photo

Dozens of Green Bay Area Public School District staff members, who are also University of Wisconsin Oshkosh alumni, gathered at the Neville Public Museum for an alumni event on May 21, 2025.

GBAPS staff were invited to connect with their fellow coworkers and UW Oshkosh alumni, enjoy refreshments and see the educational exhibits currently on display at the Neville Public Museum.

Superintendent Vicki Bayer, who is an alumna of UW Oshkosh, spoke at the event, as well as Chancellor Andrew Leavitt. Both Bayer and Leavitt expressed gratitude for the alumni in attendance for their dedication to education and supporting their community.

UW Oshkosh Director of University Advancement Christine Gantner, Director of Admissions Brent Blahnik, and Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management & Marketing Amber Evans also spoke to GBAPS staff members about their roles and welcomed staff and GBAPS students to the UW Oshkosh campus in the future.

More than 300 Green Bay Area Public Schools staff members have graduated from UW Oshkosh, many of whom have Master’s degrees.
